Job Description:

Fidarsi is partnering with an established Wealth Manager's HR team to recruit a Training and Competency Manager.

This role involves supporting the HR team by managing the training and competency department.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Implementing and overseeing an effective Training & Competency scheme
* Providing tools and support for employees to meet role requirements
* Ensuring investment managers hold appropriate qualifications
* Maintaining CPD records and SPS renewals, liaising with training bodies
* Managing relationships with training providers for in-house and external courses
* Collaborating with HR, Compliance, and Suitability units to maintain accurate training records
* Preparing and delivering annual competency assessments for investment managers
* Handling regulatory referencing, onboarding, and rescreening checks
* Assisting with annual appraisals for non-investment staff
* Delivering new starter induction programs
* Managing internal and external online training programs
* Providing T&C Management Information for relevant committees
* Training department team members for coverage during absences
* Participating in ad hoc projects as required
* Managing SMCR panel appraisals and SMFs
* Administering annual FIT processes
* Tracking compliance with mandatory training and certifications
* Recruiting and interviewing candidates, collaborating on skill requirements
* Fostering a coaching culture
* Designing blended learning and various training interventions
* Talent management and workforce development
* Monitoring regulatory changes and maintaining HRIS data
* Organizing FCA training compliance and facilitating face-to-face training sessions

Required Skills and Experience:

* Strong inter-departmental relationship management and influence skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
* Knowledge of FCA regulations including TC, SYSC, COBs, APER, and FIT
* Previous experience in a similar training or HR function
