About the Role
The AVP Repairs is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of AerFin's airframe repair vendor ecosystem. This position leads the Repair Vendor Executive team while owning the vendor commercial strategy, driving strong vendor performance, cost efficiency, and alignment with AerFin's long-term business objectives.

What You'll Do
* Lead, develop, and performance-manage the Repair Vendor Executive team, embedding a culture of cost-consciousness, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Own the airframe repair vendor strategy, performance management, and cost control in line with AerFin's 5-Year Plan
* Hold delegated repair order spend authority, acting as the first line of escalation for spend, pricing, and vendor decisions
* Own and drive repair order KPIs, including turnaround time, cost savings, data accuracy, and warranty recovery
* Lead vendor contracting, negotiation, consolidation, and renewal, including fixed-price agreements, volume rebates, consignment, and repair-and-hold arrangements
* Drive continuous improvement across RO processes, data quality, and system adoption, improving visibility, efficiency, and scalability
* Own vendor data integrity and capability management, ensuring accurate integration into vendor management systems to support optimal vendor selection and ROI
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative vendor relationships while confidently managing escalations, disputes, and underperformance
* Provide market intelligence and commercial insight to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
What We're Looking For
* Strong commercial acumen, with proven experience negotiating and managing complex vendor contracts and commercial frameworks
* Confident, credible leader with a track record of building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams
* Deep understanding of repair order and vendor management processes within aviation or similarly regulated environments
* Highly analytical, data-driven, and comfortable owning KPIs, spend authority, and performance outcomes
* Excellent communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and external vendors
* Continuous improvement mindset, with experience simplifying processes, improving data quality, and driving system adoption
* Comfortable working with ERP and vendor management systems to support governance, control, and commercial decision-making
