Job Description: Summary A NAVBLUE Aeronautical Analyst - Airspace Navigation is responsible for maintaining safety critical records in NAVBLUE’s aeronautical database which supports a variety of products for pilots and companies in the aviation industry based on the 28-day AIRAC cycle. Record types include aerodromes, runways, waypoints, coordinates, altitudes, airways, and airspace, etc. You will use visual comparison, as well as a variety of software, to compare state-published text and images with database records and update the database as required. Main Responsibilities: Compare text and images in new aeronautical publications with existing records in the NAVBLUE database. Update records in the database in accordance with structured NAVBLUE procedures, as well as regulatory and customer requirements. Using instruction and overarching guidelines, raise queries with aeronautical publication providers to clarify documents and resolve issues. Work is reprioritised by senior members of the team, and the employee must be adaptable to these changing requirements. Identify quality or non-conformance issue(s), escalate appropriately and perform corrective actions (with guidance) Required Experience: Experience working in companies in the aviation/corporate industry Working knowledge of Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) publications is an asset Required skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English Demonstrate professional attitude, motivation and enthusiasm towards day-to-day tasks Show willingness to learn and develop: be responsive and take action on positive and constructive feedback to improve personal performance whilst training and in production Communicate clearly and concisely, within the team, department and externally Participate and demonstrate active listening skills in meetings and workshops as requested Collaborate, share ideas and work effectively to achieve collective team goals Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure completeness Be quality focused with good attention to detail Adhere to process and formulate sound decisions based on information presented, and understand when to ask for guidance in unclear situations Demonstrate ability to manage workload independently and adhere to predetermined deadlines Education: Degree in aviation related field is an asset Technical Systems Proficiency: Google suite Ability to learn bespoke software Perks: Located in Hersham Place Technology Park, NAVBLUE has an on-site restaurant, Nuffield gym, cycle area, and is only 6 miles away from the M25 or A3.
