Coopman Search are partnering exclusively with a fast-growing, UK-headquartered private markets firm who are at the forefront of ESG investing. As the business continues its impressive expansion, they are seeking their first dedicated Compliance hire. This high-impact role will work closely with, and report directly to, the General Counsel.
In this role you will work closely with outsourced regulatory partners, you’ll oversee obligations across the UK, US, Luxembourg and Jersey, while also supporting ESG and climate-related compliance initiatives. This role suits someone with strong regulatory expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support global compliance oversight across the UK, US, Luxembourg and Jersey, including monitoring regulatory developments and coordinating required filings.
2. Maintain and enhance compliance policies, conduct risk assessments and testing, and help implement internal controls.
3. Provide day-to-day regulatory guidance to teams across multiple offices and deliver ongoing compliance training.
4. Perform surveillance and monitoring of personal dealing, conduct policies, and broader compliance obligations.
5. Assist with oversight of Luxembourg and Jersey fund structures and manage due diligence of third-party providers.
