We're looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager who will be a key player on our store leadership team, supporting the Store Manager in achieving operational excellence and profitability. This role serves as a key backup to the Store Manager and supports day-to-day operations while leading and coaching teammates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* More than 2 years of management experience, preferably in a retail environment
* Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
* Fluency in local language and/or English
* Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Purpose of Role
The Assistant Store Manager assists in driving sales, profitability, and other KPIs while performing daily operations. Supports merchandising standards and operational excellence, leading, coaching, and mentoring teammates. In the absence of the Store Manager, assumes their responsibilities.
Your Impact
* Supports the business plan by driving sales, profitability, and other store objectives
* Uses technology to enhance engagement and KPIs
* Supports omni-channel efforts through apps, social campaigns, and contests
* Models customer service standards and selling behaviors
* Maintains brand standards of store cleanliness and organization
* Communicates expectations for brand standards
* Oversees daily operations
* Partners with Store Manager on scheduling and payroll
* Supports merchandise handling, reporting, and sales
* Leads visual directives and floor sets
* Supports shipment processing, markdowns, and replenishment
* Reviews store audit and shrink results against loss prevention standards
* Delivers compelling vision aligned with UA’s core competencies
* Sets performance and behavior expectations
* Builds relationships with teammates and leadership
* Collaborates on performance management and development
* Addresses teammate performance issues
* Recruits, trains, and develops teammates
* Reinforces company policies and procedures
Qualifications
* Strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
* Fluent in local language and basic English
* Proficient with computers and technology
* Knowledge of employment laws and compliance
Requirements
* 1 year of experience in sports/apparel footwear retail
* 1 year of supervisory experience
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Flexible availability including holidays, nights, weekends
Physical Requirements
* Ability to handle products up to 25 lbs/12kgs
* Stand and move for extended periods
* Access all store areas
