It is an opportunity for a hard-working, honest sales professional with strong telephone ability, confidence using Microsoft Teams and a natural aptitude for appointment making. The business rewards performance, values initiative and operates in a supportive, transparent way. The Role Initially, this is a pure business development position with a clear and focused objective. The role is an engaging mix of research and preparation, professional telephone-based sales activity and confident use of Microsoft Teams. Success comes from understanding who you are calling, why you are calling and holding purposeful, well-prepared consultative conversations. Quality of calls is valued far more highly than quantity. There is no micromanagement. Autonomy and trust are fundamental to how the company operates. Your primary responsibility at the outset is to secure well-qualified appointments or quotes for the Sales Director, ensuring each opportunity is informed, relevant and commercially strong. Consultative sales skills and a commitment to customer service are fundamental requirements. The successful candidate will already understand how to sell; full product knowledge and market understanding will be provided. The company operates a supportive 360-degree management approach built on honesty and total transparency. You will be part of a collaborative sales team where success is shared through a group profit-share scheme alongside clear, achievable individual performance targets. What Youll Be Doing High-quality outbound telesales and appointment making Converting inbound enquiries into qualified sales conversations Researching and identifying prospects using Glenigan, Barbour ABI and LinkedIn Booking and progressing appointments with key decision-makers Delivering consistently high levels of customer service Managing follow-ups and maintaining accurate CRM records Working closely with an experienced, supportive management team to maximise results The Person You will have experience in telesales, internal sales, appointment making or business development and be confident, persuasive and professional on the phone. You bring a consultative sales approach, strong customer focus and the ability to build trust quickly. You are self-motivated, resilient and driven by performance and reward, with strong research skills and commercial curiosity. You are comfortable working independently without micromanagement and value honesty, teamwork and long-term career progression.
