The Role
As an Engineering Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop technical knowledge, practical engineering skills, and critical thinking.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Teaching Engineering across KS3 and KS4
2. Delivering lessons in mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering principles
3. Supporting students with projects, coursework, and practical assessments
4. Promoting safe working practices, including health & safety in workshops
5. Planning differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
6. Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
7. Working collaboratively within the Design & Technology / Engineering department

Requirements
To be considered for this Engineering Teacher role, you will need:
14. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
15. Experience teaching Engineering or Design & Technology at KS3 and/or KS4
16. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
17. Confident classroom and workshop management skills
18. A passion for practical education and student engagement
19. Eligibility to work in the UK
20. A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or DT/Engineering specialists.
