Civil Enforcement Officer Supervisor - Grade 8
Parking Services are looking to recruit a full time Civil Enforcement Officer Supervisor to complement its existing workforce.
Relevant experience of supervising other employees and working within a busy front line operational environment is essential.
The successful candidate will form part of a highly motivated and committed team responsible for the enforcement of parking restrictions throughout the Wakefield District. They are required, to assist the Civil Enforcement Officer Team Leader in leading and supporting the Civil Enforcement Officer team and to contribute to the monitoring and control of on and off-street parking, throughout the Wakefield District. It is essential that the successful candidate is an excellent communicator in both verbal and written form. Understanding and interpreting parking legislation is also a requirement of the post.
The successful candidate will have use of both desktop and mobile technology for enforcement purposes and have the ability to safely operate and maintain machinery. This post holder will be uniformed and is subject to shift working including evenings and weekends. The role requires a category B driving licence and elements of the role are physical as applicants must be able to walk long distances in all weather.
