Overview
Pensions Lawyer (Senior Associate) – 6 to 12 years plus PQE – Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh. The senior associate will join Pinsent Mason's Scottish pensions team, which is top ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers directories.
We are looking to recruit a 6 to 12 years plus PQE lawyer to join our Scottish pensions team which is top ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories.
Responsibilities
* Provide advice on technical pensions law issues across the range of work covered by the team.
* Participate in team client and market-facing activities, including client meetings, training sessions, networking, and collaboration with colleagues in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the wider national pensions team.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, market contacts and the wider firm.
Candidate Requirements
* Ideally have experience in the pensions department of a City firm or large regional practice, with a strong knowledge and experience of pensions law.
* Be a team player and able to establish effective working relationships in an agile environment.
* Technically strong with good commercial judgment.
* Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients, market contacts and the wider firm.
The role is wide-ranging and includes client and market-facing activities in addition to providing pensions advice.
