Prestigious manufacturer of street and highway lighting, requires an Sales Account Manager to support sales growth and enhance operational efficiency by serving as the central hub for the UK sales team and customers. The Sales Account Manager will play a pivotal role in handling enquiries, arranging quotations, and ensuring seamless communication between various stakeholders.
Offered as a Permanent contract, the successful candidate for the position of Sales Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining effective communication, managing a variety of tasks with precision and fostering positive relationships both internally and externally. By providing exceptional support and insights, the Sales Account Manager will help drive the organisation towards achieving its goals and delivering outstanding results for clients and stakeholders
Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Account Manager:
* Manage email and telephone enquiries from UK customers
* Create customer quotations
* Utilise and update the CRM system where appropriate
* Liaise with the field sales team to provide internal information where needed
* Collaborate with technical and operational teams to resolve customer issues and field sales requirements
* Attend exhibitions and demo van showcases
* Develop positive working relationships with other departments
* Provide cover for sales administration and reception functions when needed
* Assist with despatch administration and liaise with the goods-out team
* Maintain a thorough understanding of the product range
* Engage in and be available for training opportunities
Skills and attributes required for the role of Sales Account Manager:
* Knowledge of external lighting products and specifications
* Experience in a customer-facing role
* Familiarity with using CRM systems and creating quotations
* Proficiency in dealing with people over the phone
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.45 – 17.00
Salary: Up to £34,000 p.a. dependent upon experience
