What you will be doing
You will join a Project Delivery Team that leads and manages multi-disciplined, integrated project teams in the design and manufacture of Spacecraft Antenna products and systems. You will support the Project Management Team with the delivery of Antenna projects, ensuring they are on-time, on-cost, and on-quality. Your responsibilities will include:
* Co-ordinate and control project planning and execution, including effective management of programme scope, quality, time, cost, resources, communication, risk & opportunity, and supply chain;
* Prepare for reviews and meetings with the external customers;
* You will work on Antenna projects up to and exceeding €20M in value;
* Use of a laptop, knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite;
* You will develop knowledge of project management principles;
* Preparation of presentations, communications and team work.
Requirements
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.
* Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.
* Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Physics, Business or equivalent;
* Interest in Engineering, Aerospace and Space;
* Experience with engineering projects either in university or in a work experience setting;
* Teamwork, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Security clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
