Overview
Join the Pharmacist team at Knights Pharmacy to lead clinical services, drive business targets and deliver outstanding customer care. You will be responsible for prescription dispensing, medication counselling, and development of enhanced pharmacy services.
Responsibilities
* Maintain full compliance with GPhC codes of ethics and company policies.
* Open the pharmacy, supervise dispensing and ensure accurate prescription checking.
* Develop and promote clinical services such as Medicines Use Reviews (MUR), minor ailments counselling, and public health initiatives.
* Manage controlled drug register, storage, and ordering of medical products.
* Supervise training, CPD record keeping, and staff performance reviews.
* Oversee pharmacy sales, stock levels for dispensary and OTC products, and support business performance.
* Coordinate audits, health & safety procedures, and information governance filings.
* Maintain positive relationships with external healthcare professionals and the local community.
Qualifications
* Registered Pharmacist with independent prescriber status or eligibility.
* Clinical experience in a community pharmacy setting.
* Strong knowledge of pharmacy law, GPhC guidance and patient safety principles.
* Excellent communication, customer service and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in pharmacy software, record keeping and CPD requirements.
