Equans is looking for a Talent and Development Officer to join our team in Hatfield. This is a full-time permanent role. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.
To manage and monitor the Trainee, Apprentice and Graduate (TAG) Programme for Places and Communities and support employee learning and development opportunities. The role will be the point of contact for all Divisions and support Early Careers recruitment and Social Value contractual commitments
What will you deliver?
1. Manage the Trainee, Apprentice and Graduate (TAG) Programme from onboarding to achievement, in line with contractual, divisional, and business needs
2. Create TAG networking opportunities regionally and work with colleagues nationally
3. Ensure that all processes are followed for recruitment, enrolment, registration and achievement for TAGs and wider development programmes
4. Coordinate consistent reviews of progress, development, and achievement, liaising with Training Providers to collate progress updates
5. Identify any at risk learners to accurately RAG rate and implement any support required
6. Identify hi-potential TAGs and map to internal talent identification process
7. Support L&D Manager and HR on succession planning, to support development and retention in the business
8. Support L&D Manager and HR to identify current and future skills gaps
9. Build and manage relationships with external providers and monitor their performance
10. Act as a support function for TAGs, offering pastoral care and signposting for additional learning support
11. Collaborate with the Social Value team to meet contractual KPI-s on Employment and Skills Plans
12. Collaborate with Social Value and Bid teams on the development of Employment and Skills offers as part bid responses including: realistic recruitment targets, potential vacancies within the business, local providers and opportunities, and link into succession planning where possible
13. Ensure accurate, up to date and accessible records are kept for each TAG
14. Support internal and client reporting requirements
15. Implement and record the regional T-Level placements
16. Be point of contact for the region and offer advice and guidance on early careers options and opportunities
17. Manage internal and external TAG awards, nominations, and additional events
18. Manage all grant and levy claims applicable to TAGs and professional qualifications
19. Manage the Professional Qualifications process and advise on career development opportunities
20. Collaborate with the UK Learning and Development team to maximise group programmes and standardise processes
21. Support work-based mentors and ensure required training and guidance is available
22. Prioritise workload

Who are you?
Experience
35. Previous L&D experience
36. Experience of external funding streams (e.g., CITB, ECITB etc.)
37. Experience in being responsible for own workload, diary management and working independently to tight schedules
38. Able to use a Learning Management System
Education
39. Educated to A level or equivalent
