FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – DAY SHIFT
People HQ is delighted to be partnering with JMC Packaging Ltd, a leading provider of packaging solutions to the food industry, to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer for a full-time, day shift position.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer or someone with a strong electrical bias who enjoys autonomy, customer interaction, and working with advanced food processing and packaging machinery.
The Opportunity
As a Field Service Engineer, you will install, commission, service, and repair packaging equipment across Ireland. You will play a critical role in minimising downtime for customers and ensuring machinery performs at optimal levels.
You’ll be the face of the business on-site — trusted, technically sharp, and solutions-focused.
Ideal Background
We are particularly keen to speak engineers who have experience working with food processing or packaging equipment such as:
* Conveyors
* Hoppers
* Weighers
* Denesters
* Shrink wrappers
* Labellers etc
You may currently be working within FMCG, food production, or industrial manufacturing and looking for a role with more autonomy and a better work life balance.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in an service engineering role
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills
* Experience withs pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation systems
* Confident communicator with the ability to support and train customers
* Full, clean driving licence
* Living within 30 miles of Craigavon
