Teacher of English (Ysgol Bro Hyddgen)
Job description
The Teacher is expected to undertake the general responsibilities outlined in the job description of a Teacher within the Department / Faculty and the following areas as specific responsibilities –
Teach up to A level, AS and GCSE Monitor, mark and review the work of the pupils
Review and adapt the Scheme of Work on a regular basis
Maintain and develop departmental resources
Develop the Key Skills and other curricular themes in the department
Arrange suitable extra-curricular activities
Assist the Head of Department, Headteacher and Deputy with regard to matters across the curriculum
Any other reasonable duties in the field of the subject or another teaching area at the request of the Headteacher
