Location: Sandwell and Birmingham NHS Hospitals
Employment: Full-term & Part Time, permanent – 37.5hrs a week + flexible working options!
Salary: Band 6: £35,392 – £42,618 per annum + benefits

Role overview:
As a School Nurse, you will provide support and advice for a wide variety of health needs to help children and young people access appropriate education provision.
* Supporting holistic assessment of children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing needs
* Providing mental health promotion, prevention, and early intervention approaches
* Carrying out health assessments to identify risk-taking behaviors and supporting children to stay safe

The ideal candidate:
* Registered Nurse (RN, RN/dipHE or Child Branch)
* Specialist Public Health Degree (School Nursing)
* Level 3 Child Protection Training
* Teaching qualification (ENB 997/998, D32/33 or SLAIP)
* Recent experience in Community Public Health Nursing
* Proven leadership and management skills
