Male Support Worker
Salary: £12.71 per hour (annual £26,436.80 based on 40 hours per week).
Working Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, including alternative weekends.
Service: Affinity Supporting People East – Accrington, Lancashire.

Role Overview
You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is sometimes a challenging role but one with huge rewards.
Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
* Help plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
* Assist with personal care, including support with eating and administering medication throughout the night.
* Support individuals to become more independent wherever possible.

* A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
* Resilience to keep going at difficult times and confidence to ask for support if needed.
