We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Technician to join a leading global Loss Adjusting firm within their Real Estate team .

Location: Chelmsford (Office-based for the first few months)
Salary: £22,500
The opportunity:
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to join a well-established and supportive team in a growing Real Estate division. Reporting directly to a Team Leader, youll provide vital administrative and operational support across a portfolio of Real Estate claims.
No prior insurance experience is required just a professional attitude, good organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring accurate input of data to maintain high standards of data quality and reporting.
Setting up new claims daily at the request of your line manager.
Assisting account handlers and senior account handlers as required.
Managing your personal work diary and supporting the team with diary tasks.
Undertaking a variety of administrative duties in line with company procedures.
Dealing with external stakeholder queries in a professional and timely manner.
Liaising with Loss Adjusters where necessary.
Supporting compliance with financial procedures, such as invoicing.
Running, checking, and issuing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Providing support on team projects as delegated by the Head of Real Estate.
Attending client review meetings when required.
Other ad hoc tasks to support the wider team.
About you Knowledge and Experience:
You are organised, detail-focused, and take pride in your work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Advanced Excel skills would be a plus, but not essential.
Able to manage your workload independently while being a strong team player.
Eager to learn and develop your career in a professional environment.
Working pattern:
This role is full-time office-based (5 days per week) for the first few months.
After that, hybrid working may be considered 1 day per week from home with manager approval.
Once probation is passed (6 months), the hybrid pattern will move to 2 days from home and 3 days in the office, subject to business needs.
