Location:Huntingdon, PE28 (will be moving to St Neots PE19)
Days & Hours:3 Support Worker roles available for days, nights and weekends. An example of the shifts would be as follows: these could be subject to change depending on Hannah's needs.

Support Worker 1Term Time Mon 8pm-8:15am, Fri 8pm-8:15am and Sun 8am-8:15pm = 36.75 hrs a week
Support Worker 1 School Holiday 2 extra Tues & Wed 8am-4pm = 44.75 hrs a week
Average of 38.75 hrs per week

Support Worker 2 Term time Wed & Sat 8pm-8:15am = 24.5 hrs a week
Support Worker 2 Holiday Tues & Fri 8am-4pm = 40.5 hrs a week
Average of 28.5 hrs per week

Support Worker 3 Term Time and Holiday Tues & Thurs 8pm-8:15am, Sat 8am-8:15pm = 36.75 hrs a week

Pay:£14.50 days,£15.50 weekends,Sleep in Nights £NLW (currently £12.21 for aged 21+),Bank holidays at 1.5 x the hourly rate.

Driver required?Essential
Driving Clients Car?Yes, Wheelchair adapted vehicle, automatic.
Using Own Vehicle for work purposes?Yes, on duty and to attend training
Essential:Supportingyoung adults in their own home. Supporting adults with Cerebral Palsy
Desirable: Experience working with young adults with trauma and an interest in therapy
Accommodation (while on duty): Carer facilities

Introducing Hannah
Hannah is a bright, intelligent young woman born in 2005, with a strong interest in learning and a love for staying active.She lives at home with her close-knit family, who play an important role in her life, and shares a close relationship with her brother, who has since moved out.

Currently attending university, Hannah thrives in academic environments and enjoys expanding her knowledge about the world. Shes a great listener and finds joy in hearing about other peoples experiences.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys swimming and socialising. She regularly attends a monthly Ladies That Lunch event and is a member of a local club where she explores different sports and activities.

Hannah has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy which affects all four limbs. She uses an AAC Grid 3 for communication, you will need to allow her time to answer questions that are posed. There are a team of Support Workers currently in place and for transfers and personal care require 2:1 assistance to maintain Hannahs comfort at all times.

About the Role

As Support Worker, your primary focus will be to support Hannah in living a full, active, and fulfilling life. Youll play a key role in helping her maximise her independence and reach her potential, while ensuring you deliver her care and support to a high standard.

Youll be responsible for:

* Supporting with Hannahs daily living
* Promoting Hannahs learning, wellbeing, and independence both at home and in the community
* Ensuring all care provided is safe, effective, and person-centred

This is a hands-on role where your organisational skills, compassion, and commitment to quality care will make a lasting impact and a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and committed care team, where your work will have a meaningful impact on Hannahs life. By helping to maximise her opportunities and promote her independence, youll play a key role in her journey toward living life to the fullest.

The role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly and confidently, and who brings patience, empathy, warmth, and compassion to everything they do.
