Contract Specification Manager – South East (with National Coverage)
ASR International is exclusively partnering with a market-leading, German manufacturer in the bathroom industry to recruit a Contract Specification Manager. This manufacturer is a well-established, premium brand in the mid-to-high-end sanitaryware market, known for innovation, quality, and cutting-edge design. With sales up over 30% year-on-year, recent record-breaking Q1 figures, and momentum from new product launches and a major European acquisition, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth. Several key accounts in the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors are already in place.
We’re seeking a driven, commercially focused Specification Manager to lead and develop project pipelines, with additional national responsibility. You will be joining an established UK team with solid infrastructure, working closely with the contracts office to ensure seamless project delivery.
This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll be actively identifying and securing specification opportunities while managing relationships with a range of industry stakeholders.
This is a customer-focused and facing role, to develop and manage specifications across a wide customer base, including national and regional housebuilders, main contractors, social housing groups, architects, interior designers, and merchant partners.
Actively identify and pursue new project opportunities, building a sustainable pipeline across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
Work in close collaboration with the UK Contracts Office to manage delivery timelines and customer expectations.
Engage regularly with the Retail, Sales and Marketing teams to align on strategic brand growth.
Represent the brand at key industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
Proven experience in a specification-focused sales role, ideally within KBB, interiors, construction, or building materials.
Strong network across housebuilders, developers, contractors, architects, and merchant partners.
Demonstrable success in project-based selling and managing complex sales cycles.
Familiarity with commercial agreements, project tendering processes, and pricing strategies.
Confident navigating CRM systems and managing detailed project pipelines.
Capable of working independently in a field-based capacity, with the ability to prioritise and self-manage workload.
Strong understanding of margins, project costs, and contract terms.
Comfortable travelling regularly, including occasional overnight stays.
