Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer (Automated Software Testing) who will take an active role in ensuring the quality of complex software systems. The candidate will participate in test design, automation, integration testing, and close interaction with development and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and support automated test scenarios
2. Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
3. Work with API testing tools and analyze service interactions
4. Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle
5. Prepare and maintain test cases, test plans, and technical documentation
6. Participate in requirements analysis and review of technical specifications
7. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other QA engineers
Requirements:
8. 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
9. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
10. Experience in software and automated testing (Selenium, Playwright) and test design
11. English language proficiency at B1 level or higher
12. Hands-on experience with SOAP UI, Postman, and JMeter
13. Skills in preparing and maintaining technical and test documentation
14. Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, etc.)
15. Experience working with databases (basic SQL knowledge is an advantage)
16. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have:
18. Experience in fintech, banking, or payment-related projects
19. Understanding of payment systems and transaction processing
20. Experience with API testing and microservices architecture
21. Knowledge of SQL and database testing
