Are you a strategic Data Architecture leader ready to drive transformation in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architecture Lead to spearhead the modernization of enterprise data platforms, ensuring quality, governance, and innovation across the programme.
Data Architecture Strategy & Design
Define, own, and evolve the data architecture roadmap aligned with the programme’s transformation goals.
Establish enterprise-wide standards for data modelling, integration, and interoperability.
Ensure the architecture delivers scalability, security, and compliance.
Data Interrogation & Quality Management
Analyse current data assets, identifying gaps, risks, and optimisation opportunities.
Implement robust data quality frameworks for validation, cleansing, and enrichment.
Embed strong data governance principles across the programme.
Data Migration & Transformation
Lead end-to-end migration strategies from legacy platforms to modern cloud/hybrid environments.
Safeguard data integrity and ensure seamless transitions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise data flows and pipelines.
Reporting & Analytics Enablement
Architect data structures and pipelines enabling advanced BI and reporting solutions.
Ensure timely, accurate data delivery for business insights and strategic decision-making.
Work closely with business stakeholders to align analytics capabilities with organisational goals.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the programme’s authoritative voice on data architecture.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders on best practices and strategic direction.
Mentor architects, engineers, and analysts to uplift internal capability.
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* 5+ years’ experience within data or architecture domains (BI, data warehousing, ETL, data management, etc.).
* Strong knowledge of Big Data technologies, ML Ops, Kafka, and modern data platforms.
* Skilled communicator able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
* Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Ability to lead multiple initiatives, work independently, and collaborate seamlessly across teams.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
* Self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment.
* Experience within Financial Services.
* Exposure to multiple architecture frameworks.
* Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
* Hands-on with multi-cloud technologies.
