The Borgen Project works to keep poverty reduction on the policy agenda and to improve living conditions for people affected by war, famine and poverty. The organisation has 20 years of experience in advocacy and supports the passage of bills benefiting people in developing countries.
Writer/Journalist Programme – The role focuses on content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog. This is a part-time, unpaid remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If availability is limited, you can complete the programme in fewer weeks.
Responsibilities will include
* Article writing.
* Researching topics.
* Assisting with The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts.
* Assisting with fundraising. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Experience No prior experience is necessary; we’re looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of GPA or background.
Details This is an unpaid programme, although college credit is available.
Start Date New programmes begin every month; you choose the month you wish to start.
