Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the planning team on diverse infrastructure projects
2. Assisting with the preparation of consent applications
3. Taking responsibility for specific aspects of projects, such as drafting reports and meeting with clients or stakeholders
4. Ensuring the delivery of smaller projects in accordance with client objectives and timescales
5. Collaborating with engineers, environmental teams, and communication specialists during all project phases
Job Requirements:
6. Degree and/or masters in Town Planning and a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
7. Good knowledge of relevant planning legislation and planning policy
8. Experience producing outputs like consent strategies and application documents
9. Proven project management skills with a successful record in planning and delivery
10. Commercial and financial management expertise for project profitability
11. Experience in business development, including successfully bidding for work
12. Ability to articulate complex issues concisely, write reports, present effectively, and manage client relationships
