Job Description:
We are seeking a Production Scheduler/Allocations Coordinator for an ongoing contract based in Aberdeen.
This is a Control Room based role working 12-hour shifts: 7 night shifts, 1 day off, 7 day shifts, resulting in 20 days off.
Candidates should have a background in Hydrocarbon Allocations and knowledge of the Sub Terminal Allocation, Commingling, and Attribution agreement (STACA).
The role is based within the UK Dispatching and Coordination Centre (UKDCC) in Aberdeen, which operates 24/7.
* Monitoring the integrity and safety of all inter-field and some intra-field pipelines.
* Optimising throughput to maximize company efficiency.
* Dispatching nominated sales gas to shippers daily.
* Monitoring gas sales quality for National Grid infrastructure.
* Coordinating shutdowns and maintenance activities.
* Serving as the initial contact for pipeline and medical emergencies.
* Coordinating production, transportation, and delivery infrastructures.
* Managing systems covering 4 trunk lines totaling 1600 km, linking offshore and onshore locations, and overseeing numerous agreements.
Main Duties:
* Generating and issuing long-term and weekly forecasts for the STACA system, and preparing daily dispatch reports.
* Operating the STACA dispatching system and managing nominations through the Direct Marketing process.
* Executing hydrocarbon allocation activities daily and monthly.
* Making prompt decisions to avoid financial penalties.
* Maintaining communication with installations and initiating procedures during communication loss.
* Communicating with partner assets and third-party operators.
* Providing gas availability updates to marketing teams.
* Participating in emergency response exercises and adhering to safety procedures.
* Ensuring timely and accurate information delivery within contractual limits.
* Investigating suspect pipeline conditions and acting per emergency procedures.
* Ensuring compliance with corporate manuals and supporting out-of-hours operations.
