About MoneyGram Haas F1 Team
In 2025, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team celebrates its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We are a team that challenges the status quo, with the goal of continuous growth and success. As the first American F1 team since 1986, we made a memorable debut in 2016 and have been progressing ever since, coming off our second-best season to date.
We are a racing team, not a corporate machine, with three headquarters in Kannapolis (US), Banbury (UK), and Maranello (Italy). Known as the 'family team', we value passionate, loyal, and hardworking team members who contribute across various areas and see their impact directly.
Position Overview
This role reports to the Head of Composite Design and is based in Maranello, Italy. It involves planning and strategizing component development and race integration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
2. Design and develop F1 car components.
3. Continuously improve component designs focusing on car performance.
4. Assist in planning workload for the composite design team.
5. Contribute to concept development related to composite design.
6. Coordinate with the Race Team on reliability and design revisions.
7. Conduct research and development activities.
8. Adhere to all safety regulations.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent is required; a Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of professional motorsports experience in design, with some FEA experience advantageous.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
The role requires working in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment, possibly involving domestic and international travel, long hours, and physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and manual dexterity. The environment includes machinery, race cars, rigs, and hazardous materials, with a strict adherence to health and safety policies.
