🚀 Senior Sales Lead – Public Sector (UK Wide, Remote) | Digital Consultancy

💼 £100,000 – £120,000 basic + uncapped OTE | Professional Services


Are you a driven new business hunter with the ambition to grow into a sales leadership role? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing digital consultancy at a pivotal moment in its journey, with the mandate to build out its public sector footprint.


We’re looking for someone who can open doors, build trust, and deliver sustainable growth across a diverse portfolio of public sector clients. You’ll thrive in dynamic environments — helping organisations transform just as government departments have shifted services from paper-based processes to digital-first delivery, or as the NHS has embraced data-driven care models alongside traditional healthcare. This role is about being part of that journey: enabling organisations to modernise, adapt, and deliver real value to citizens.


This isn’t about chasing a single mega-deal — it’s about creating a balanced pipeline of opportunities and laying the foundations for a sustainable public sector business that you could ultimately lead.


🔍 What you’ll be doing:

* Driving new business activity across central and local government, healthcare, and wider public sector organisations
* Building and nurturing a spread of accounts, ensuring sustainable growth rather than reliance on one-off large deals
* Creating and executing a sales strategy that establishes a strong public sector presence
* Positioning digital services and consulting offerings as enablers of real-world change
* Working closely with delivery and leadership teams to shape client value propositions
* Growing into a sales leadership role as the public sector segment scales

* Strong track record in new business sales within the public sector (or other complex, regulated markets)
* Network of senior decision-makers within government or comparable organisations
* Ability to manage a sales cycle that balances strategic wins and repeatable deals
* Commercially astute, with experience building ÂŁmulti-million pipelines
* Ambition to step up into a sales leadership role as the team and segment grow
* UK-based, comfortable working remotely with occasional travel
