Job Overview
We're looking for team members with a passion for artisan food who love trying new things. The Retail Sales Representative will collaborate and strategize to improve sales and merchandising activities in the assigned sales territory, execute client expectations, and represent GFI throughout the market. This Sales Representative will demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills by assisting customers, answering questions, and suggesting items of value to build customer loyalty.

What You'll Be Doing
* Establish and maintain relationships with retail store managers and department managers.
* Present and sell company products and services to store accounts within the assigned sales territory.
* Manage in-store inventory and properly merchandise products in assigned stores.
* Prepare and issue in-store credits as needed according to company and account policies.
* Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, and feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company employees.
* Be accessible via phone during business hours, including weekends.
* Check and respond to email messages daily.
* Participate in sales drives, incentives, and contests.
* Participate in marketing events such as seminars and sales meetings.
* Conduct outside sales activities by visiting customers to build relationships and understand their needs.
* Schedule and manage customer visits for product demonstrations, discussing solutions, and closing sales in a personalized setting.
Physical and Other Requirements
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs.
* Frequently stand or sit for prolonged periods.
Preferred Qualifications
* College degree preferred but not required.
* One year of sales and management experience.
* One year of culinary or retail work preferred.
* Valid Driver's License.
