Job Description
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £23,868 pa
Location: Cambridge
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday 9-5
Industry: Health & Nutrition, Food
Role Overview
Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGS-approved SOPs.
Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff.
Maintain organized, auditable laboratory records.
Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output.
Maintain a safe working environment, following Health & Safety protocols
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would be from a food process driven background such as Fast food restaurants or food manufacturing. No previous lab experience or degree is required
Experience in working with food and fast paced environments
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance.
Proactive approach to learning and development.
