✨ Do you love bringing people together? Can you spot someone’s strengths and put them to good use? Are you brilliant at making people feel welcome and valued?
We’re looking for a warm, organised, and energetic Volunteer Coordinator to help launch the Women’s Community Hub in Barnstaple.
💡 You’ll be the friendly face that connects local volunteers, from skilled tradespeople giving their time for free, to community members lending a hand and make sure their talents are used at just the right time in the project.
🤝 Working closely with Encompass Southwest Buildings Project Manager, you’ll:
• Schedule volunteers for different stages of the Hub’s development
• Support them while they’re on site (yes, including tea breaks and biscuits! ☕🍪)
• Create a real sense of community and belonging among everyone involved
What you’ll bring:
✅ Fantastic organisational skills – making sure everything and everyone is in the right place at the right time
✅ Great people skills – connecting volunteers, plans, and NDADA staff
✅ The confidence to motivate and encourage others
✅ A flexible, can-do attitude – ready to jump in where needed
This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of something new, exciting, and truly community-led. Every week will be different, but every week will make a difference.
