Sales Person - Huws Gray Derby (Lake House)
Part‑time – 30 hours per week, with alternative Saturdays.

We’re looking for a Sales Person to join our Derby (Lake House) branch. Our sales people thrive on great conversations, building lasting relationships, and driving branch success.
What you’ll be doing
* Building connections with customers in person, over the phone, and in the branch or yard, providing expert advice.
* Creating tailored solutions – preparing quotes, following up on enquiries, and developing leads.
* Managing essential admin efficiently to keep operations running smoothly.
* Offering guidance with up‑to‑date product knowledge so customers find the best materials.
* Enhancing the shopping experience by maintaining well‑stocked, inviting displays.
* Collaborating across the branch with colleagues, including yard and counter sales, to support the team.

Required skills & experience
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Strong product knowledge or experience in a builders’ merchant environment.
* Good computer literacy.
* Previous retail or sales experience is a plus.
* Strong time‑keeping, natural organisation, clear communication and attention to detail.
* Ability to adapt your approach to suit each customer and deliver a positive, personalised experience.
