As a Project Manager at BritGreen Energy, you will:
* Plan and oversee renewable energy and energy efficiency installation projects across multiple sites and regions.
* Coordinate surveyors, installation teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Develop detailed project schedules, establish milestones, and monitor progress against objectives.
* Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide cost forecasts and variance reports.
* Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
* Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards, including MCS, TrustMark, and government scheme requirements.
* Maintain regular communication with customers regarding project timelines, updates, and progress.
* Collaborate with internal departments including sales, compliance, operations, and customer service teams.
* Prepare project status reports and performance updates for senior management.
* Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
* Support the continuous enhancement of project management processes, systems, and best practices.
Candidate Requirements
Required
* Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and strict deadlines.
* Strong organizational and planning abilities.
* Experience managing budgets, costs, and project financial reporting.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic environments.
* Proficiency with project management software such as:
o Microsoft Project
o Asana
o Monday.com
o Similar project management platforms
* Full UK driving licence.
* Right to work in the UK or eligibility for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
Preferred
* Professional project management certification such as:
o PRINCE2
o APM
o PMP
* Experience within:
o Construction
o Renewable energy
o Housing
o Home improvement sectors
* Knowledge of UK government energy efficiency schemes including:
o Warm Homes Plan
o Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
o Energy Company Obligation (ECO)
* Understanding of MCS and TrustMark compliance requirements.
* Experience managing installation or field-based operational projects.
