We are currently seeking an experienced Design and Technology (DT) Teacher for an SEMH school in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging DT lessons and creating a supportive, active learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic teacher with a passion for inspiring students and developing their skills in the subject.
Key Responsibilities for DT Teacher:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging DT lessons in line with the school curriculum
Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation
Manage and maintain student behaviour effectively, promoting a focused and supportive classroom environment
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities
Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all studentsTo be considered for this role, you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent, with experience teaching DT in a school setting
Confident delivering the national curriculum and adapting lessons to meet individual needs
Experience working with students with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour (desirable)
Patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with students
Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeingECTs with experience are welcome to apply
