As a Senior Commercial Manager you will focus on scaling innovative propositions, forging new partnerships, and delivering year‑on‑year growth as You will operate in a high‑impact role that demands a commercially astute leader who thrives on creating new concepts, shaping market opportunities, and driving adoption of next‑generation messaging solutions.
You will work in close partnership with senior regulatory and technology leaders, ensuring that all commercial and technological transformations are seamlessly harmonised with evolving regulatory requirements. You will play a pivotal role in guiding VodafoneThree at the forefront of connectivity, global expansion, and the evolution of the UK’s most advanced mobile network.
* Define and drive the commercial growth strategy for RCS, Verification and VMN services, with clear focus on revenue generation and market expansion.
* Own and deliver against ambitious revenue targets, building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline across new and existing customers.
* Identify, develop and close new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, enterprise clients and channel relationships.
* Lead end-to-end sales activity, from proposition shaping and client engagement through to negotiation and deal closure.
* Develop compelling commercial propositions and business cases that resonate with customers and drive adoption.
* Execute go-to-market plans with a strong sales focus, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and conversion.
* Build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted partner to drive long-term value and account growth.
* Track market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to proactively identify revenue opportunities and refine approach.
* Drive commercial performance and accountability, using data to optimise conversion, pricing and growth levers.
* Lead and inspire a high-performing, results-driven team, focused on winning new business and delivering commercial success.
Qualifications
Who you are
* Proven commercial leader with a strong track record of driving revenue growth, winning new business, and expanding market share within telecoms or adjacent sectors.
* Demonstrated success in building and converting sales pipelines, from identifying opportunities through to closing high-value deals.
* Strong understanding of messaging with the ability to translate market dynamics into clear commercial opportunities.
* Highly effective communicator and negotiator, confident engaging senior stakeholders, partners and customers to influence outcomes and secure deals.
* Results-driven and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to operate at pace, take ownership, and deliver measurable commercial impact.
