Overview
Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company, Hagley Catholic High School is looking to recruit a part-time Teacher of Science for January 2026 or sooner if available. Salary Range: Main Scale/Upper; Hours: 0.2 FTE; Permanent.

Responsibilities
* Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach at A level desirable but not essential.
* Contribute to teaching and learning development in Science across KS3 and KS4.
* Provide secure specialist knowledge of the Science curriculum.
* Work as part of a well-regarded Science department to maintain strong progression and learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified teacher with the ability to teach across KS3 to KS4; A-level teaching is desirable but not essential.
* Experienced, committed and conscientious practitioner.
* Ability to contribute to the department’s strong curriculum and schemes of learning.
About the Department and School
* The Science Department consists of 7 teaching staff and 2 technicians; the curriculum is strong with well-sequenced schemes of learning.
* Science is taught to all pupils in KS3 & KS4, including Triple Science as an option, with A-level provision in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
* Attainment in science is excellent, GCSE outcomes are above national average (in the 80th percentile) with positive progress (+0.55 in 2024).
