Modality Partnership Nottingham Division has a part-time vacancy (25 - 37 hours per week) seeking a skilled, compassionate, experienced & qualified General Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting in various medical procedures at The Windmill Surgery. Salary for this role is £40,950 per annum WTE.

Main duties of the job

The role involves delivering evidence-based practice for patients with chronic conditions and providing preventative healthcare to the practice population. The post requires critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in managing patients. The role is not a standard 9am-5pm job; it requires innovation, flexibility, and commitment, with the postholder working resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks are completed.

Knowledge

* Management of patients with chronic conditions
* Accountability within primary care roles

* Clinical leadership
* Skills in cervical cytology, immunisation, ear care, minor surgery

* Teaching and mentorship in clinical settings


Experience

* Minimum 1 year in general practice
* Minimum 2 years post-registration experience
* At least 1 year recent community nursing experience
* Experience managing chronic conditions in a nurse-led setting
* Experience implementing protocols and quality initiatives
* Clinical supervision training and experience
