They are recruiting 9 Employment Advisors to join a brand-new, long-term funded contract. Roles are available in either Hillingdon or Brent. The role: Youll be trained to become an IPS Employment Specialist, working with people who have mental health conditions or physical disabilities to help them find and sustain meaningful employment. Your work will be community-based, hot-desking across partner sites such as Job Centres, Council Offices, and NHS Trusts. Youll meet participants 1-to-1, coaching and supporting them to overcome barriers, build confidence, and move into sustainable work. Youll also work closely with Jobcentre Plus advisers and health professionals to provide joined-up support. A key part of the role involves engaging with employers every week building relationships and creating new opportunities tailored to your participants skills and aspirations. Youll manage a small caseload of around 25 participants, giving each person the personalised support they need to succeed. All travel between sites is paid (excluding your normal commute from home to your first and last location). Typical locations include: Brent : Brent Job Centre (Neasden), Brent Council (Wembley), Central Middlesex Hospital / Northwick Park Hospital Hillingdon : Uxbridge Job Centre, Hillingdon Civic Centre, Hillingdon Hospital Full training is provided through a mix of online learning, shadowing experienced colleagues, and hands-on guidance from your Team Leader in the community. What were looking for: You dont need prior employment support experience, full IPS training is provided, but youll need one of the following: Voluntary or paid experience supporting vulnerable people (for example, through university, mental health, or mentoring work), or 12 months experience in a target-driven role such as sales, recruitment, or customer service.
