Overview
About The Role
This is a full-time night shift role working 8pm–8am for 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is required.
Location: Woodthorpe Lodge, Loughborough LE11 2ER
In your role as a Night Manager at HC-One you’ll value one thing above all: kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell, and by joining us you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
Being a Night Manager means taking responsibility for a specific part of the home and delivering the very best level of care, and it may involve running the entire home when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. You’ll handle duties such as assessing mobility issues, coordinating care, and administering medications, always with resident dignity and well-being in mind.
You will have proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults. Beyond that, it’s about your positive energy and ability to collaborate with others. This role requires real accountability and, when communicating with residents or co-workers, you’ll be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and to undertake additional training as appropriate. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
