The Role of the Systems Engineer:
The Systems Engineer will support stakeholders by creating practical concepts and providing expertise in electromechanical process automation and robotic solutions. Your work will involve designing, testing, and documenting automated manufacturing systems that reduce risks and increase efficiency.
Key Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer:
Develop and refine automated robotic handling, manufacturing, inspection, and assembly systems.
Generate initial concepts and collaborate across departments to ensure best practice and quality.
Produce detailed design documentation, including operator manuals and technical specifications.
Lead projects from concept through testing, identifying issues early and proposing solutions.
Promote the capabilities of the Systems Engineering Department internally and externally.
Mentor and provide input to other engineering teams.
Support sales efforts by assisting with project proposals, customer visits, and process assessments.
Requirements of the Systems Engineer:
Minimum 5 years experience in engineering design and manufacturing.
Proven track record of taking designs from concept to commissioning.
Strong skills in system requirements, structured design, and technical documentation.
Experience with qualification and acceptance testing.
Familiarity with ISO standards, SolidWorks, industrial robots, PLC control, and electrical systems.
