We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oncology Gynaecology Consultant to join Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, working across Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District Hospital.
This is a full-time Insourcing opportunity for an initial 6-month period, supporting the delivery of high-quality specialist gynaecological oncology services. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of established Gynaecological Oncologists, contributing to complex cancer pathways including outpatient clinics, theatre work, multidisciplinary discussions, and follow-up care.
Due to the complexity of the caseload, clinics and theatre lists will typically involve small patient numbers (approx. 2 per session), allowing for the highest standard of care.
This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant with expertise in complex gynae oncology, including robotic and open surgical techniques, to make a significant impact within a supportive and forward-thinking Trust.
