Fuel Terminal Controller

12 month Fixed Term Contract
An established organisation within the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a Terminal Controller to support operations at its Clydebank site on a 12 month FTC.
This role is key to ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products, while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
Shift pattern: 10 months of the year is x2 day shifts followed by x2 night shifts then 6 days off. The other 2 months of the year it is straight days Mon-Fri.
Key responsibilities:
1. Supervise vehicle loading and product movements
2. Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental and operational procedures
3. Monitor contractor and driver activities on site
4. Carry out routine operational checks and basic maintenance tasks
5. Respond to alarms and support emergency procedures
About you:
6. Experience within fuel terminals, logistics, or process/industrial environments
7. Trades experience(mechanical/electrical) preferred. Trades qualification e.g. HNC, BTEC mechanical or electrical with process operating qualifications would be an advantage.
8. Strong focus on safety and ability to follow strict procedures
9. Good communication and basic IT skills
10. Ability to work independently, including nights/weekends
