We’re working with a well-established payroll bureau based in South Manchester who are looking to add an experienced Payroll Administrator to their growing team.
The Role
Working within a busy bureau environment, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple client payrolls across a variety of sectors. Accuracy, organisation and excellent communication skills will be key.
Key responsibilities include:

Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls from start to finish
*
Calculating statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP etc.)
*
Managing starters, leavers and payroll amendments
*
Submitting RTI reports to HMRC
*
Handling pension submissions and auto-enrolment
*
Responding to client payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
*
Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
About You
*
Previous experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice environment is highly desirable
*
Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience
*
Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation
*
Confident using payroll software (Sage, BrightPay or similar)
*
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*
Able to manage multiple deadlines without breaking a sweat
A CIPP qualification (or working towards one) would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
