We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Cleaning team based in Oldham.
Location: Oldham Library, Cultural Quarter, Greaves Street, Oldham, Greater Manchester (OL1 1AL)
Hours: 10 hours per week – typically split across early morning shifts (06:30–08:30), some flexibility may be available
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Library & Cultural Quarter team, supporting them in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Your day to day will include:
* Carrying out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping surfaces
* Cleaning and replenishing washroom and kitchen facilities, including consumables
* Emptying waste receptacles and disposing of waste correctly
* Safely using and maintaining cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines
* Following cleaning schedules, colour‑coding systems and health & safety procedures at all times
