We’re seeking a Director of Sales to lead our NextGear Capital sales function across the UK. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on building relationships, motivating teams, and driving strategic growth. If you bring energy, vision, and a university degree, we’re open to your background—whether it’s in finance, tech, retail, logistics, or beyond.

What You’ll Be Driving

* Lead & Inspire: Empower and energise a team of Heads of Sales, Account Managers, and Support Executives to exceed ambitious targets.
* Strategic Growth: Shape and execute dynamic sales strategies that attract new customers and deepen existing partnerships.
* Collaborate & Influence: Work cross-functionally with Credit, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and Legal to deliver seamless customer experiences.
* Customer-Centric Leadership: Build lasting relationships with dealers, vendors, and partners—always putting customer success first.
* Portfolio Oversight: Monitor performance, mitigate risk, and ensure proactive engagement across customer portfolios.
* Industry Representation: Be the face of NextGear at key events, translating strategy into action with clarity and charisma.

What You’ll Bring

* Proven leadership in sales within a fast-paced, results-driven environment
* A natural ability to motivate, coach, and inspire teams
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in finance, portfolio management, or customer success
* Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce
* Willingness to travel and thrive in high-energy environments

Bonus if you have:

* Experience in the automotive sector (but it’s not essential!)
* A passion for innovation and customer-focused solutions
* A university degree (any discipline)
