Role Overview
PIB Insurance Brokers, part of the PIB Group, is searching for an Account Handler to join our Commercial Broking team in Retford. The position focuses on delivering top‑class professional advice and service to all clients while supporting career progression towards an Account Executive role.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent end‑to‑end client service and governance by advising, arranging, reviewing data, and promptly remediating issues.
* Deliver profitable, tailored insurance solutions with optimal structure, pricing and placement.
* Build strong relationships; collaborate to grow the business, place risks in approved markets, keep clients updated on changes, and ensure cover and terms remain suitable.
Qualifications
* Robust UK insurance experience, particularly in General Commercial Account Handling.
* Solid understanding of regulation and compliance.
* Excellent client service and administrative skills – highly organized, process‑driven, accurate and detail‑oriented.
* Team‑player with strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Experience using Acturis and MS Office.
