Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join an established Digital Marketing Agency based in Peterborough. The role offers a basic salary plus uncapped commission and a car allowance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing customer accounts to increase sales.
2. Following up on quotations and sales inquiries.
3. Maintaining and developing existing relationships, pitching, and expanding business with retail clients, digital marketing agencies, and white label partners.
4. Researching, contacting, developing relationships, pitching, and securing new business from potential clients.
5. Preparing sales proposals.
6. Managing and updating the sales pipeline daily.
7. Representing the company at exhibitions.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Ideally residing within the Peterborough area.
2. Experience in account management and marketing/web-related sales.
3. Proven sales experience, preferably in digital marketing services, web services, design, branding, content marketing, and support.
4. Experience in the digital marketing industry is advantageous.
5. Strong presentation and face-to-face communication skills.
6. Experience managing projects and leading teams.
The role involves finding new opportunities primarily through phone calls, meetings, and demonstrations. It is a comprehensive 360-degree role.
