Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant – Derbyshire
Daily Rate: £90 – £110
Start Date: September 2025
We are seeking flexible and committed individuals to work as a Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant in secondary schools across Derbyshire. This dual role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain varied school experience, either supporting students in the classroom or leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

Work as a Cover Supervisor, delivering pre-set lessons and managing the classroom
Provide Teaching Assistant support, working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils
Weekly pay between £90 – £110, depending on experience

Who We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Adaptability to switch between supporting and leading in the classroom
A proactive and supportive approach to student learning
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
