We are recruiting a Band 3 Support Time and Recovery Worker to join our team, which provides secondary mental health services focused on the direct needs of service users. The role involves working across boundaries of care, organisation, and role.
You will provide support and dedicate time to an allocated group of service users to promote their recovery and maintain their community environment, helping them build their own support network. You will assist care coordinators in identifying needs and in planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans.
The role requires keeping the individual service user's needs at the forefront, working within the recovery model to support them towards their goals using agreed values and skills.
You will be actively involved in delivering Initial Interventions with guidance from a Psychologist or Occupational Therapist when undertaking STROT.
What we can offer you in our Community Recovery Service Line
Community Recovery offers opportunities to experience community mental health nursing across Kent's 9 localities. You will gain experience working with service users and carers in their homes and through group work as part of our MDT. The service line includes inpatient rehabilitation units, offering newly qualified staff the chance to work with patients transitioning back to the community.
Additional services include the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service for individuals aged 14-65 in early stages of psychosis, Learning Disabilities, and Primary Care Psychological Therapy. We collaborate closely with Kent County Council, providing high-quality support alongside Social Workers.
We invite you to join us in the Garden of England, combining professional development with a high quality of life.
