We work closely with our colleagues in the Adult OT service, Housing and Adaptation teams, Education and Health services.

There are opportunities for flexible working arrangements in comfortable working spaces with excellent transport links in Woolwich, generous staff benefits packages and supportive supervision.

The successful candidate will have:

* Level 3 NVQ in Health or Social Care related qualification or equivalent experience.
* A passion for working with children, young people and their families, supporting their inclusion in all aspects of their lives.
* An understanding of the role of a Social Care Children's Occupational Therapy service.
* The ability to undertake comprehensive functional assessments and interventions, including specialist equipment and adaptations, plan and deliver effective Children's OT services.
* Knowledge and skills working in social care, health and/or education settings with children and young people with additional needs, or transferrable experience, skills and knowledge.
* Experience of involvement in multi-agency / partnership / consultative working and carrying out lone assessments in client's homes, including safeguarding duties and risk assessments.
* An interest in supporting development of services, with the child/young person and their family's needs at the centre.
