Part Time Accounts Assistant - 2 Days per Week (Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm) - Witham - Permanent Opportunity
Salary: £15.00 per hour (Full Time Equivalent £28,860 per annum)
Start Date: Mid March
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a busy Finance team on a two day per week basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional seeking a flexible, part time position, with the potential for additional hours in the future.
The Role
*
Credit control, including professionally chasing overdue accounts
*
Assisting with sales ledger management, raising invoices and allocating payments
*
Managing shared accounts mailboxes and responding promptly to queries
*
Setting up bank payments
*
Matching purchase orders to delivery notes
*
Matching fuel receipts to invoices
*
Processing credit notes and bulk processing tasks
*
Checking drivers’ corporate card statements
*
Checking bank accounts
*
Identifying and chasing missing invoices
*
Managing petty cash
*
Sending customer statements
*
Providing general administrative support to the Finance team
The Person
*
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or finance administration role
*
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
*
Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
*
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
*
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
This role will initially be two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday, with the potential to increase hours over time.
